Love Making Kundalini

WARNINGWhat you are about to read is designed to change the way you view sexual activity for the remainder of your life.  I recommend that you read through this article at least twice and then share it with your mate.  Sex is a very pleasurable experience and the unfortunate part is that most of us miss the magic that is the truth hidden within the pleasure.  Enjoy!
About 15 years ago I began teaching a class called “The Magic of Kundalini”.  Sometimes it was offered for couples and other times it was presented to single women who were on a mission toward spiritual cultivation.  At that time I also began to notice how music videos cheapened sex and created excitement around sexual arousal causing many of our young people to want to participate in the experience without understanding the its power.
Imagine that sex is such a powerful act that the most ultimate creation is manifested; two people generate a likeness of themselves.  Now that is absolutely awesome!  However, we can harness this very same creative juice to manifest empires and New Worlds.  And it’s just as simple as overstanding the kundalini energy.  Many people in the elite class use these practices for their benefit and now it’s time for us to use this same juice to maximize the dreams and goals we are choosing to manifest in the world.
Let us start by overstanding the difference between ordinary sexual activity and tantric sex:

Ordinary sex: For most people the sex act is a release of tension. If a man feels an overflow of sexual energy, he usually wants to release it as quickly as possible in order to relax. However, if he ejaculates, there will be a waste of energy.
Tantric sex: When the sexual act is practiced with meditative awareness and without loss of the seminal fluids, there is no loss of energy, and the act is not followed by fatigue and a feeling of the blue. On the contrary, following the Tantric sexual act vital energy is multiplied and conserved. When both partners melt with each other, vital energy is exchanged between the masculine and the feminine, and the energy build to higher levels.
The Indian master Osho says: 'If you are not in a hurry to finish the act, it by and by becomes less sexual and more spiritual. Sex organs also melt into each other. A deep silent communion happens between two body energies, and then you can remain for hours together. This togetherness moves deeper and deeper as time passes. But don't think. Remain with the moment deeply merged. It becomes an ecstasy, a samadhi, cosmic consciousness' (Osho: Book of Secrets, p. 468).

Don’t get me wrong; sex is not the only way to raise this energy.  There are several ways to raise kundalini – dancing, exercise, sports, and praising are a few that come to mind immediately.  Each of these activities can be done alone or with others.  To fully utilize the power of the kundalini energy one must be present and in the energy of the desired outcome they wish to manifest.

Love making kundalini offers several different components of manifestation that aren’t available in the individual or group effort.  The couple has the opportunity to create together the vision they wish to bring forward through their relationship.  Once the vision is shared, the energy of love adds exponential power, then pleasure adds another level of power and now you multiply that by two.  Depending on the energy of the couple, miracles can happen almost immediately.

What is so interesting about the time period that we are currently living through is that so many of us have been able to link up with our twin flame which provides an even greater power to use kundalini energy for manifesting desired outcomes.  Just imagine how much fun we could all have visualizing peace in our communities, then making love to someone that we adore and then step outside a few hours later to a community of calm.  We definitely have the power to do this while at the same time creating material comfort and fulfilling lifestyles.  The only obstacle we must get beyond is the outdated conditioning that our minds have been inundated with through media, education and our childhood environment.

The 23rd Psalms - Metaphysically Speaking*

This is a prayer that acknowledges abundance, guidance and support.  Once you open yourself to the vibratory elements and the visual cues, your personal energy level automatically increases with each reading.  Allow me to decipher the metaphysical meaning behind this beautiful and humble prayer  . . .

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

The original translation of the word Lord was Law.  So we can say without a doubt that the Laws of the Universe govern all energy. Subsequently, if the law is guiding me (shepherding), then I have no need to want for anything.  All that we need is already provided.

He maketh me to lie down in green pastures:
Again the translation of He is not gender specific yet it refers to the governing Source of the Universe.  So when we allow ourselves to be guided by the laws of the Universe we find that we can lie down in beautiful, peaceful surroundings -- unaffected by the noise of the world.

He leadeth me beside the still waters.

Still waters run deep.  Which means, when we are comfortable with security and peace within,  then we are not agitated or restless regarding the things going on around us.

He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me
Because we overstand the flow, the guidance, and the laws of the Universe we can rest assured that when life comes at us hard, we will be restored and our path will be lit so that we are able to see the direction of travel.

In the paths of righteousness
When we are aligned with the Universal laws we overstand what it means to be conscious of all energy in the flow, so that all we do is for the well being of the whole and not just our selfish fulfillment of personal desires.

For his name's sake.

We do what is right for the sake of the whole and those whose name we honorably respect like our parents, our elders, our ancestors, etc.

Yeh, though I walk through
And there are times when we will meet with energy that seem to throw us off balance,  and really what they are doing is assisting us in seeing areas where we are required to strengthen.  So all there is to do is keep walking through and staying present to the guidance from within.

The valley of the shadow of death,
And should we happen to enter into the valley of death we realize it is just an illusion.  Energy does not die.  It may change frequencies, or alter it's appearance, depending on the conduit, and it doesn't die.

I will fear no evil:
Death is not evil . . . it is part of a recycling process designed to assist us in elevating our capacity to hold and distribute light.  When the body is worn out the spirit has to use another vehicle to continue its work.  There is no need to fear death. Energy (Spirit) is eternal.

For thou art with me;
The laws of the Universe are with us in everything that we do, whether we believe there is a God or not. However, when we trust this process we can be certain that we will always be cared for no matter what is going on in the world.

Thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

A shepherd uses a rod to give a firm direction to the flock they are leading which tells them to "go this way" -- firm, gentle, directive.  The staff is used sometimes when the direction is ignored and something a little more forceful is needed.  Correction and Discipline!

Thou preparest a table before me
As we surrender ourselves to the flow of the Universe we become one with all of nature and all of life. As this is done a feast is always available for one to eat.

In the presence of mine enemies:
Even as others may wish you harm because they do not overstand the blessings being bestowed on you, they are still witness to the delicious abundance of God and the opportunity for their very transformation is inspired.

Thou anointest my head with oil;
Oil is representative of the healing nature of the Universal Laws. When we align with this juice, this energy that everything surrenders to, our  illnesses and dis-ease subsides as well; unless of course your ego needs them for something.

My cup runneth over.
Once a cup is full the momentum of the Universe continues to move through the open spigot, it just keeps pouring it on.  The more you receive, the more you give, thus the more you give, the more you receive.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
One who flows with the generosity of the Universe tends to stay connected to the Source.  They receive abounding mercy while others suffer attempting to bend the laws to their will.

All the days of my life:

This meaning is evident and addressed directly in the next statement.

And I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
When we are bonded in our relationship to the law we stay there being grateful for the wisdom, the protection, the guidance, the abundance, the peace and the joy.  Forever will we seek to live in complete balance and surrender to the Laws of the Universe.

(Psalm 23)

*I originally read a book by Dr. Joseph Murphy in 1983 that spoke specifically to this topic and how he understood the metaphysical meaning behind the 23rd Psalms.  I humbly offer my personal rendition as I continue to practice its use these many years later.

The Relationship Trap

The Relationship Trap

Where did we get the idea that we are incomplete if we are “single”? There are many experiences in life that can happen and even if we are in a relationship at this very moment, life happens and your relationship can change in an instant. Wouldn’t it be great if we could get to the place where no matter wh

ere we find ourselves in life, we can be comfortable in our own skin? Well let me say, if you are reading my blog you are one of the few people who are ready to make that type of adjustment in your thinking. Why am I talking about the relationship trap?
So many people believe that one person in life will provide them with the happiness and joy they have always longed for and thus the trap is set. Imagine that the entirety of your life is designed to have you become the best version of yourself and that is all. So another person is not required for you to become that version and ironically, you will not attract that divine relationship until you generate the vibration to hold such a gift. Let us examine it from this direction.
The Evolution of Relating
Parental Relationships – Some of us have really awesome parents and have found true love and balance with the way we interact with them. We are able to be ourselves in their presence and there is not a sense of parent/child struggles as we move into adulthood. Then there is the majority of us that have issues regarding our parents and we either are dealing with them or they are dragging us around in misery. It’s important to point out here that many of us end up marrying the one parent that we could not stand when we were children. As horrified as that may sound, the Universe is generously providing a mirror to assist us in eliminating those blocks that keep us bound to our sadness and inadequacies. Here is the work in this arena:
  1. Forgive your parents for whatever you think they did or didn’t do for you
  1. Acknowledge that your parents did the best they could do at the time.
  1. Get to know your parents and their life so that you can see the child in them and maybe even help them to loosen some of the emotional blocks from their own childhood.
  1. Begin to distinguish the outdated parenting modes you may use with your own children and release them.
The Illusion of Dating
  • Are you special?
  • Do you have to feel special to someone?
  • Does someone in particular have to make you be special?
  • Is being special or not being special the trigger that drives your need to be in intimate relationships?
Just about everyone we know would say yes to the above questions and thus the illusion of dating is created right along with the drama and the heartache. As soon as we are taught to look outside of ourselves to determine our worth we begin the journey of seeking approval. Much of what people do in dating is to validate their worth. “Look at who I am with!” and then, when they are no longer with the person, they feel invalidated, “I am not good enough”. Now the pattern of finding the right one to make us feel good enough becomes a life long quest. And again, we are still looking outside of ourselves for someone to tell us we are special or to make us feel special.
Well your search is over! Hear me loud and clear: “YOU ARE SPECIAL JUST BECAUSE YOU ARE ALIVE!” Now act like it!
You don’t have to prove that you are worthy of anyone’s love or attention and when you find yourself doing that please note that this is a self-esteem issue. How much esteem or worthiness do you hold for yourself? I don’t care what your parents did or did not do for you. It doesn’t matter if you were a wanted pregnancy or not. YOU MATTER TO LIFE!
So here is what I am inviting you to do for the next few months to clear your space for the greatness that is before you:
  1. Dating celibacy – take your attention off of your mate or your desire to have a mate.
  2. Explore opportunities to get to know yourself on a more intimate level, this can be done through the spiritual practices of solitude, meditation, study, time in nature, yoga, etc.
  3. Mentally assess where you are right now with your life. Shed light on any dreams or ideas you may have let go of in the past and see if they are worth reviving.
  4. Do you have any outstanding issues from your past relationships that need to be healed and released? Take care of this one immediately.
Relationships are for Kingdom Building
People have always asked me why I don’t date and the truth is I date all the time based on setting up a scheduled time to be with people – my girlfriends, my male buddies, my children, etc. On this path in life some of my best healing has taken place when I have not been in a relationship. And I have been fortunate enough to know that prayer has my life partner find me when we are both ready. And along the way I cultivate relationships with a multitude of individuals who are like-minded and spiritually nurturing.
I can tell when men want to hang out with me just so they don’t have to be alone or deal with their demons. I don’t choose to take that on at this time. We all have to do our own work. I have trained myself to not be an enabler. I will help another become strong before I will make them depend on me and become weak. Thus weak men seldom last in my space whether they are friends, lovers or otherwise. One priestess told me that she can see from my past life that I “make men out of Kings and Kings out of men”. When she told me this I was in the midst of cultivating a group of 30 young men who belonged to a street organization. I was merely adhering to the blueprint in my soul.
Know this, as you develop the true essence of who you are, your mate is doing the same thing. So don’t rush it! We need each of us to be strong and capable to deal with the huge backlog of healing that needs to take place in our hearts, our homes and our communities. At this point spiritual cultivation is the key and it’s to be used to unlock your mind from the strong hold that the world has on it.
Let me recommend the following actions you can take to support you:
  1. Raise the level of self-care and nurturing that you provide to yourself and your inner core of family and friends.
  2. Advance your awareness of who you are to the next level. See how you can play in life more generously.
  3. Release those patterns in your relationships that keep you beholden to parents, friends, lovers and jobs that are not for your higher good.
  4. Get a library card and develop your home library as well.
When you are having a good time in your life and your heart is light and your troubles are few and far between, it wouldn’t matter if you have a mate or not, because what you would have is joy and when you have joy all that is joyful will flow to you. And, what is not will move away from you!
Love and Light!
